Marvel is running the risk of watering down their brand with these series.
Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were not bad.... but just OK (a bit boring for me, personally).
I mean, they definitively have the money to waste as they want, but I do not see these turning into successful franchises or developing any big following.
There is so much saturation in this genre, that I have gone back to just watch the big releases and kind of ignore the rest.
The only thing superhero related I'm looking forward to is Logan. Other than that, I hope to be surprised by whatever they do with Affleck as Batman.

I really enjoyed Luke Cage and Jessica Jones espesially.
Looking forward to this, and the future "The Defenders" thingiebob.
Marvel has been really pionering the field of non-camp super hero shows. I like Arrow and The Flash, but I really love the more darker Marvel series on Netflix.

Comic brands have always been watered down. Thousands and thousands of comic series and only a few of them any good. They are switching mediums from physical comic books to tv series. There is less and less money in comic books and more and more in movies and series.

Yeah you've got to keep in mind they're building up to the Defenders, much like the build up to the Avengers. JJ was mainly good due to David Tennant, not much else. I enjoyed the environment in Luke and the actors playing the bad guys. Daredevil and Punisher... Can't get enough!

Sweet! I didn't know it was slated for this year. Is Defenders still this year too or is that pushed? I only hate not getting another DD season, that's still the best.
