Even though my Bruin's are out of it, I still love watching Playoff hockey. No other sport has better play offs than Hockey IMO.
I really wish someone would run this POS Subban and knock him out for a year.
And before all of you start saying how the Ottawa player dove and came back 2 mins later, just remember Subban has been suspended 3 times this year for diving.... KARMA at its finest as Subban got a game misconduct
I love the first round of the NHL playoffs. Anything can happen and usually does. There always seems to be a number one seed getting knocked out by an eighth seed. My guess this year is Winnipeg over Anaheim.
I got Concast, I can't find the Anaheim and Winnipeg game on any channel. Watching St. Louis and Minnesota now. Yep, rooting for the Jets. The never should have been without a pro team.

Those announcers piss me off. Guy swung his stick with purpose and they defend his actions. And as usual the NHL does nothing.
The Wings will be out in the first round. I am a live long fan, but they are pretty much a minor league team with a few pros on it. Montreal looks strong. The Rangers look flat.

Well while I agree they're not playing the best they can, they certainly are going to the next round over the Pens. Hopefully round two will see them playing with that speed and determination that got them this far. And you can't deny the overwhelming odds that NY overcame this season to finish the way they did, Henrik really carries the team...... still.
The Wings look like they recovered well from that EPIC CHOKE the other night. So far. The Caps / Islanders series has been really good too. I'm not a big fan of the earlier matinee time games. I guess Gary Bettman has to make sure the NBA gets the "prime time slots".
Where did this Capital's team come from? They are looking pretty solid.
The biggest problem with Washington is consistency. Trotz was a big addition as was Hooks and Nisky. Oates micromanaged the players to death last season. Great player, horrible coach. If they play a solid 60 minutes a game, they will make a deep run.

Would like them at least take it to game 6 even better 7. Holtby has been a freaking monster, doesn't matter how many shots on goal you have if you can't get them past the goalie. But that said every game has been a good one win or lose.
Go Rangers like I said in my last post win or lose every game in the series has been great. Outstanding goal tending from both teams and exciting hockey.
IMHO the best playoff sport in the world. I have also been watching the IIHF tournament too. I enjoy watching the highly skilled guys on that open sized Olympic ice. Soon I will be in hockey withdrawal, when it is all over. I am hoping for anybody but the Ducks. Getzlaf is a hell of a hockey player, but I think Perry is a dirty cheap shot artist.
Well I'm quite surprised at the TB/Ranger game today I thought TB would have pounded us hard but it seemed more evenly matched. Glad we got the win in any case always better to start out the series leading and I expect this to be another good fight for both teams.
I know. But I hate the Ducks. It used to pain me that one my favorite players ever, Teemu Selanne, used to play for them. I would love to see an original six final. And then I would root for the Rangers.
Well me too LB, we really need to play hard next game to stay in this. We've been in the situation before and managed to pull it off but last night was a tough loss and at the garden no less. Go Rangers!!!

Woohoo game 7 at the garden Friday can't wait heres hoping for continuation of an stellar season! They brought there game tonight and delivered, game 7 will be an awesome match by two teams up against the wall.
I think the Rangers and the Lighting suffer from bipolar disorder. You never know what team will show up. I'm going to flip a coin to see who wins game seven. That Ducks came was nuts last night.
Looked like the Hawks had to play Duck hockey tonight! A ton of hitting and physical play. Hawks looked a ton better than they did for the first period of their last game where they looked like they were just standing around. Definitely a fast paced physical game tonight and glad the Hawks came out on top!
Scared shirtless for Saturday's game 7! This might be one of the best series I've ever seen played. Both the Ducks and the Hawks are powerhouses, and even with 1:30 left and down by 2 in any game you never know who's going to win because neither team ever gives up.
Well thats not going to happen what a total disappointment from the Rangers shut down in game 7. They could of at least put up a fight but they didn't bring their game at all, congrats to TB that did even though I think it sucks! What terrible way to lose the season, down comes the Ranger flag thats been flying for months and there goes another season.... I don't even care anymore.
Don't mind a loss where they fight it out but not like this......not like this.

Ducks goaltending had nothing to do with the outcome of game 7. Andersen played his butt off and I don't think he let anything in that anyone could have stopped...they were all great goals. The Hawks were just FINALLY playing Blackhawk hockey...and the Anaheim team fell apart and panicked (again). The Western Conference series was the best hockey series I've seen in years. Even when the Hawks were up 4-0, I didn't dare stop being scared because 5 of the 7 games had a come from way behind rally and a few ended up with a win.
Blackhawks will now destroy the Lightning in 5 games.
As a Southern California hockey fan, I was hoping the Ducks could pull it off. Unfortunately, Jonathan Toews plays for the Blackhawks. He is one hack of a hockey player; great skill, big heart and an indomitable will. He speaks softly but carries a big stick. Congratulations and good luck against Tampa Bay.
