Amazing footage. Can't tell what type of missile was fired. Probably SARH? Does UAV make enough heat for IR missile?

If its got a motor it has some sort of heat signature.

It's IR because it's the left outside pylon and the range is too short for SARH. Right? But it could also be the middle pylon. Not entirely clear.

I wonder if it is the pilot's first AA victory. Is it the first AA kill for the R73?

The Georgians seemed to anticipate this. I wonder if they lost other UAVs previously.

MIG-29's don't have wingtip mounted weaps.
