Mutley,

Impressive job, mate. Thanks for taking the time to document your work and share it with us. What's your next project?

Cheers,

Cool, blast from the bast.

Did you change the throttle axis sensors?

I had the Talon stick, that was a proper piece of hardware back then.

Hi RSColonel_131st!!

I like the Talon too. Unfortunately its potentiometers are not timeproof. Because of that, I create a new gimbal to my Talon to use the TLE5010 non contact sensors (http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4328759/suncom-f-15-new-gimbal-pursuit#Post4328759)

In other hand, my SFS potentiometers are ok. Actually one of them are pretty good. The another is having some spikes. But, no problem, because I use to fly with one of the axis to control two turbines aircrafts.
My luck is that I found - in a small eletronic commerce in my city - two potentiometers with exactly the same physical specs of the SFS potentiometers. I bought two as spare parts for the future. They are 10k (original is 100k), but, no problem, because is in the range of the MMJoy2 and the ProMicro Arduino.

Cheers!!

BTW - OP pictures are not showing anymore because Postimages change domain from .org for .cc, example:

https://s15.postimg.org/vjoagrmzv/SFS01.jpg <<< don't show anymore

https://s15.postimg.cc/vjoagrmzv/SFS01.jpg <<<< show

A link fix extension for Google Chrome:

Anyway, OP topic fixed links:
