Iron mechanic motor control (axes)

Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 07/14/15 12:55 PM

I bring to your attention the iron mechanics (KIT kit) to build dashboards engine (s) and other mechanization (flaps radiators, shields, etc.). Mechanics offers not painted and assembled. Paint and (or) assembly discussed separately.

His mechanics I conditionally divided into three types (differences in the arms):
- For ore - $ 17;
- For the propeller pitch - $ 16;
- For the other axes "Universal" - $ 15.

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 03/10/17 07:27 PM

In the control unit "Sextet" 6 mechanics GVL224 (6 universal) are installed.

Iron mechanics, axles on bearings with non-contact sensors.

Front panel:
- 2 axes on variable resistors (potentiometers);
- 4 buttons;
- 6 toggle switches without locks in the extreme positions (like 12 buttons).

Total we have 8 axes and 34 buttons.

The case is made of acrylic 3mm thick, collected as a 3D puzzle ..., available in black, white and transparent.

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 05/26/17 07:16 PM

Developed a mechanic with fixed stem positions, for use in "cockpit" buildings, for example as a crane chassis, release-cleaning shields and other.
A non-contact sensor can be installed on the mechanics (for example, MagRes) if the program (controller) allows you to split the axis range into different functions. In this case, it is possible to have more than three fixed positions.
Or three microswitches in each of three positions (the bar with three microswitches will lay out a little later).

I worked two types of rods with the fixation, I want to know your opinion about which implementation is preferable for you, namely, the spring on the side of the bolts or the spring in front of the rod on the protrusions of the rods.

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 05/30/17 09:51 AM

Redesigned model for three positions (microswitch).

More than three microswitches can not be placed, but if you put the MagPes and program it into sectors, then you can do more things.

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 08/15/17 06:18 PM

Mechanics with fixation for 5 positions.

The number of positions can be any (how many slots fit on the bar).

The position of the stem is removed by a non-contacting sensor, Mareps.

If the controller or the program allows you to split the entire range into sectors and assign each value to each sector, it is possible to assign a specific action to each position of the stock in the program (simulator).

While I will not open a new topic, I will place it in this one.

The control panel.

Used the controller MJoy16. Installed 11 buttons with the ability to highlight, 1 mini-stick, 4 encoders, 1 potentiometer and two toggle switches with protective covers. Inside, there is still room for the installation of a second controller which, according to the customer's plan, will control the backlighting of the buttons. The case material is 1.5 mm steel cut on the laser and bent by a bending machine. Width 31 cm, depth 10 cm, height with legs 6.7 cm.

Wow, this is a really nice throttle.. I mean all your throttles are nice but this one is really next level stuff. Great to see people stick with a project and keep it moving forward like this.. these throttles have evolved quite a bit over time, nice work GVL224.

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 08/29/19 01:08 PM

Hello.
I present to you the new mechanics for the throttle.
The peculiarity is that the movement of the handle is straightforward.
This option has a 150mm stroke.
This indicator can be both reduced and increased using shafts of appropriate length.
The length of the required shafts is "handle stroke" + 100mm.

Hi,
For which plane and sim do you use the wheel inlet and poulet cool flap?

Re: Iron mechanic motor control (axes) - 10/19/19 04:11 PM

Gadjo,

The majority of this throttles was made for players of IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles (BoS, BoM, BoK, BoBp), and optimized for particular user needs.

In this specific throttle, this two wheels at left (turning encoders) is for open/close cowl flaps (in and out) of planes like La5/La5FN, for control temperature of their air cooled engine.

Sokol1 wrote it right.
I can add, assign any button, the toggle switch and axis can be what exactly you want.

Rail mechanics with a rod locking mechanism in any pre-selected travel position.

On one mechanic, you can use several racks of limiters.

https://gvl224.com/mechanika.php#Fixation
Iron mechanics on bearings, lever with fixed three positions.
From 2 to 9 fixed lever positions are possible. As an “axis” from 2 to 9 positions.
As well as the “buttons” from 2 to 3 positions.
Handles may have a different shape and color.
The weight of such mechanics is 203 grams.
