Cockpit frame dimensions

Cockpit frame dimensions - 11/18/14 09:07 PM

Im thinking of adding a circular forward frame rail to my Jedi Pit

may not be the correct term, where the SHOOT lamp is on a F15 or the mirrors would be on the A10....

just a rough estimate of diameter or radius, it won't be accurate, but i'm thinking of adding a spitfire like rear view lcd or real mirrors for people sneaking up on me in flight

just thought id ask, im looking at building a curved screen eventually and looking at cutting curved ring parts from MDf got me thinking of cockpit frames and real HUDs.....

The local wildlife will probably kill him long before he's had the opportunity to complain about the heat. biggrin

Its one of two designs for the full sized shooting cockpits of the Xwing from the Star Wars films. This one was only seen in a deleted scene..

That's an OV-10A grip innit? WAAAAAAAH!

Fortunately the Mk I Viper I've got in mind is the "new" BSG version and doesn't have unobtainium flight controls. smile
