Baco, in "Dios y los Halcones/Halcones de Malvinas", in some occasions the 'Numerales' were ordered back home due to mechanical or electrical failures or other problems during the first leg of the mission - I'm sure Carballo himself ordered a wingman back to base in one of the missions, I'll try to dig the book again and find the page
But I may be wrong too and the plane with the mechanical/electrical problem was the one to communicate to the rest of the flight that it has no conditions to proceed and has to return.
IvanK, not only Learjets, there were a couple of Skyhawks with VLF Omega, but not all of them. This will be a strange issue to deal in flight sim terms. In terms of plane set, means two types of A-4B (one with Omega and other without). IIRC, the plane flew by Castro Fox (commander of the navy A-4 unit in the war) was the one with the Omega. The others didn't had it.
