Mission Builder?

Apologies if this has already been coverd...
Will there be a mission builder implemented into the game, and what kind of level of control can we expect to have?
Can we set wayppoints for ships, and other ground objects etc.

it is very likely that we will leave the missions open for users to enhance.

at the moment I'm afraid we make do with quite poor interface in developing missions:

its called - a text editor (c:

there are scripting commands to set waypoints, behaviour modes and the AI is also scripted.

I would infact be delighted to see at some point AI dogfight contests.

What format are your mission files?
(hint: MS .INI files are easiest)

I can possibly provide a reasonable editor
(see the editors I made for CFS and Strike Fighters
here )

Of course I would need an alpha or beta of Jet Thunder.... (:^)

More questions, if you have the time to answer \:\)

What would an online mission format be like, in terms of how its played:

A COOP format, where everyone loads in at the same time, and the mission runs until everyone is dead.

Or A dogfight scenario, where planes can start, and respawn at any time during the mission.
