Land based Exocets. - 05/15/04 02:11 AM

I saw a book recently that said that the Royal Para's discovered some truck launched, land based Exocets at Stanley (I think) that were to be used to keep the RN task force from getting too close...but the Argintine positions were over run before they could be successfully deployed.

Will there land based missiles be in the game..??

The Books title was "The Secret War For the Falklands".

Actually one was fired.
I canīt recall if it did hit any Naval Unit.

But waht would be the point in having this one (onlly one was built) unit in the game, since it would be AI controled and it would onlly serve as a ground unit.

Or you mean to have it as a taget for the harriers?

The land-fired Exocet hit HMS Glamorgan. There's a book called "Ordeal by Exocet" with the facts about the HMS Glamorgan in the conflict.

Whats the point..??..because if the harriers don't knock it out, the AI may use it to hit a carrier or something like that...assuming we get the option of telling the ships where to go..

I just thought it would be a good "thorn in the side" type of thing...
