People downloading the client for the first time should verify correct region. I think most of us play in the North America server but bear in mind one of us got stranded in a Canadian server. The server regions are completely segregated so pay attention to this.

In-game voice comms are good. No need for TS except for advance mustering/coordination.

The only way to play together at the moment is to meet in the game lobby and form four-man fireteams there. Once you are in a game you can only FT with others within that game's server.

To friend or FT, right-click on a name (as above) for whisper, friend, ignore and block options.

well the sign up was Magnum66 but in game was Magnum50 go fiquer.

Fearless, my statement might have been misleading, allow me to clarify: Linebacker lives in Canada and somehow got the wrong client so he couldn't play with others on the NA server. He's fixed it now but had to start again from Lvl 1.

I'm generally around most nites, lately it seems like the servers aren't populated enough to even get in a match tho, so I bail...
I'm just attempting to get xp points to pick up some weapon/armor mods, currently !'m @ lvl 5 this go round.

I like good comms and effective teamplay, too.

I'm Lvl-22 Specialist and Lvl-23 Recon. I'm not great with a sniper rifle but with the speed-enhancing Lvl-18 (I think) armor, Footstep Detector, enhanced Cloak (with duration and speed of renewal inserts) and as good a suppressed SMG as I can buy, I have become quite a high-scoring Sneakon.

Is there a training mode with this that allows you to learn it before jumping on line?

No, it's in at the deep end, Pooch. If ever we are on at the same time, we can Fireteam and I'll mentor you. Are you Pooch in game?

I'm just getting into it but I'd like to join. I haven't played any multi-player before but Team Play and Communications sounds good to me. My GR online name is Chausser.

Hey Lip. Yup, I'm still playing, very impressed with the continued support and commitment from the devs and their responsiveness to user concerns. I do not usually join clans but I was invited into one, DMF, that -- no credit to me -- turned out to be a top clan in the NA GRO community. This has enhanced my enjoyment of the game further, as these are good guys -- a few women, too -- and very good players.

This is not going to be anything like any Ghost Recon. Ghost Recon in name only. It's pretty much a 3rd person Farcry co-op game.
