WOTRKeys Run Time Error '9' when trying to remap keys.

HELP!

I just received and setup my new VKB Gunfighter 2 MCG Pro Joystick and was trying to get it setup in WOTR. The first time I opened WOTRKeys, all was well and both my VKB Gunfighter 2 MCO Pro stick (with Pedals) and my TM Warthog Throttle were recognized. I was able to delete the extra axis on the Warthog but was unable to get it to recognize any new axis assignements. I saved the file and the stick, rudder and throttle did appear to work in WOTR. However when I went back to edit some other key/button assignments, when I enter the workshop and try to launch the re-map keys app I get an error: " WOTRkeys Runtime Error '9' Subscript out of Range" and WOTRKeys crashes. I can delete the WOTRKey file and start over but it then does it again.

Is there a workaround for this??? Can you Manually Edit the WOTRKey map file?

Really bummed as I have been looking so forward to flying WOTR with my new HOTAS setup but am now grounded :-(

You might want to email OBD support directly on this.

I think it is possible to edit the file thouh, it is in your roaming apps folder, somewhere like:

C:\Users\You\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW2 Wings Over The Reich\WOTRKeys.xca

Thanks I will contact them directly. I have a feeling the length of VKB controller name is what is blowing up the WOTRKeys program. Yes I found the .xca file and though I could directly edit the xml file in notepad ++, it would be rather difficult without the syntax for all the commands.
I have been able to cobble something that works by mapping all the Warthog throttle commands using my initial and only shot at WOTRKeys. I then mapped all the VKB Stick buttons to keyboard commands using the VKB software. It works but it is a PITA and far from ideal. Should I want to change a throttle button I gave to delete the file and start over from scratch and I have no way to remap axes right now.

I have your email and have just responded, it's because previously VBK in their wisdom added a "space" character at the end of their DirectX joystick name. Runtime did not like that,
so we fixed it by forcing it to be removed by our WOTRKeys program.

However being more wise, on this new stick from VBK they add a space at the START of the name now. No need for it but it's there.
That's what causes a problem. Possibly also a problem in runtime too. We will add a fix for that in the next patch - in the meantime we'll send a test on if you can try it please.

Experiencing the same thing with my VKB gunfighter stick.
First time keymapping works but on the next attempt to keymap I get the error.

edit - Ack, my bad. I should have posted this in the WOFF forum. Will take it directly to OBD support

The new function binding tool both for WOFF and WOTR is out now in their respective patches released yesterday (WOFF) and today (WOTR).

(Either WOFFKeys.exe or WOTRKeys.exe is found in your \Toolbox folder in your install. You can also launch it from "Workshop" menu. "Re Map keys/controllers").
