Imperial Eagle

Well it took a while but I finally found a station selling the new Imperial SuperEagle. (Apam Napat if anyone is interested)

I might do a proper write up later but for now here's my quick review.

Good
Harpoint placement
Aesthetics
Speed and maneuverability (400+ m/s when boosting!)
Decent jump range for a little fighter (20ly with class A FSD)
Plenty of juice

Bad
Shields (Better than stock Eagle but still an Eagle)
Limited firepower
Limited modules
Hard to find

On to the pictures, trying to show off some of the interesting parts of the ship such as the cool heat sink on back.

Wow, nice. Looks like great visibility from the cockpit!

Same as the regular Eagle only the cockpit and chair are white instead of grey.
The visibility is great. Before we had the debug cam the Eagle was a good way to take screenshots, just look straight up through the top of the canopy and you get a full screen view with nothing in the way.

Edit: I just noticed that the CQC Eagle is actually an Imperial Eagle sans wingpods and spoiler. It shares the same weapon placement and rotating heatsinks.

Think you have to be at a certain level to purchase.

You only need the very first Imperial rank - Outsider. (Master for the Courier and Baron for the Clipper)

Haven't all the rank requirements been removed because of the coronation of the new emperor?

They are due to be removed, last I heard, since the Community Goal finished early.
