Logitech X56 on WOFF

Being new at this and not the sharpest pencil in the flight sim box, I have been trying to get a VKB flightstick to work on WOTR which I am told is by the same company as WOFF. I cant make it bind the buttons correctly and am giving up. While I do have a T16000 HOTAS that does work, it has a definite plastic toy feel to it. I have been looking on-line at the Logitech X56. The only other option that I see is the Thrustmaster Warthog, but that is a little out of my budget right now and I was told that the labeling is Warthog centric and not sure that I want that to play WOTR or WOFF (which I hope to be my next game). If anyone has any feedback on the X56 or other suggestions, I am totally open.

Thanks to OBD Technical Support’s super efforts and Wango Tango’s advice my controller problems seem to be resolved.
