looking for old patches - 04/05/20 03:11 PM

Salute
Had a PC crash and lost everything.
Now I'm looking for old patches to Woff.... I had every single one of em.

either someone knows how to get reshade to work with W10 ( I could not ), or someone could send me an old patch.
And that would be for woff UE patch 4.17...the last one known to allow sweetFX to run, and last patch I used.

danke

Lederhosen

I could help with that. I have all the patches but before I make ant available I think we need to hear from Polovski to get approval. They are all proprietary ownership of OBD. They may even have them archived and be able to make them available.

Hopefully Pol will chime in here to give us direction.

Best Regards

Or does anyone have experience using Reshade with WOFF on a Win10 machine that could possibly help Lederhosen out? Or else he,s going to miss out on the great additions that the patches after 4.17 gave us.

I use Win7 still guys and Reshade works absolutely fine, not to sure about Win10 though.
Cheers Lads.

I am sure Reshade works, it's sweetfx that doesn't? Anyway Robert it's OK to give Lederhosen the patch he needs but don't post links please

Hmmm, been a while since I installed Reshade - but I don't recall having to do anything funky or tweak it any different than the base instructions to get it at least functioning. It works just fine for me and has all along with Windows 10 (SweetFX does not, however - but Reshade is better anyways).

If I recall some adjustment I had to make to get Reshade working, I will post it here - but I don't believe I did anything unusual at all.

ok for the record, I've seen a thread but cant find it now.
Anyway the guy had the same problem as me.

With Reshade, WOFF UE v4.24, W10
Then game runs and loads mission but just after the "Runtime" message we both got a "game terminated permanently" box and that's the end of it, crash back to main screen.

For those running AMD cards on Macs/Mac Pros, keep in mind that Reshade is a no-go on ver. 4.22 and later of WOFF - have tried all sorts of advice written in the various threads and it doesn't work. I recommend instead trying my WOFF GPU Tuner patch (since it contains a slightly altered shaders.xml file that enables some lighting options previously turned off - seems to give a bit more green to the terrain that way, and overall broader lighting). SweetFX on the other hand is the recommended option (on Macs) to ver. 4.21 of WOFFue.

Happy flying,
Von S smile

Hey, that is sounding familiar. I do recall now having an issue with first trying it out - and it was simply because I did not have download the additional plug-ins (was a separate download - or perhaps it was an option that came up during the initial setup up (can't quite recall)). The program would start up, then crash because the plugins it was trying to access were not there. Perhaps that is the issue for you and that other fellow?

Salute

and thanks for all the help, but the fire is gone.

Got everything going, started a career, but decided that the whole thing is no joy.
I just can't get back into flying. Led is going west.
I'll be around looking and such but this should be my last post.
I want to thank this community for yrs of fun.

Sorry to hear this lederhosen. I guess the addition of a few more pretty clouds just wasn't enough to keep you in the fold. smile

I myself went through a rough patch a while back where I couldn't find much joy in WOFF, but now I am back and looking forward to all of the new developments and the work of people like VonS, HarryH, orbyxP, xjouve, etc. Take all the time you need and hopefully, we will see you back in the skies and on the forum again before you know it.

Take care and don't be afraid to reach out if need be.
