DX11 Shader button under Graphic Details

Just got PE and am back in the cockpit after a very long hiatus.
I did notice a new setting in the workshop which piqued my interest. Alas, the button was greyed out but it read: DX11 Shaders

Is this an upcoming thing?

DX11 WOW, who knows the first brick in the road to VR.

Man that would be great, sorry I keep hoping about VR

There's no timeline for DX11 that I am aware of. I'm sure the developers would love to make that jump but I also imagine the complexity and amount of time and effort that would require on their part will be no easy feat. I keep hoping though. I'd pay extra just for that.
