PE? - 02/06/20 12:12 PM
It has been a while since I played this game and I have the Ultimate Edition which obviously wasn't because there is now a Platinum Edition. Do I update for free to the PE from my UE or is there a cost involved please?

WOFF PE is not a free upgrade, a lot of work went in to it and we have to eat. Full details are on the Product page on our website
http://overflandersfields.com/products.htmlUnder WOFF PE on the right column click on "New PE Features" button for the detail.
Most people who bought PE say it's really worth it and a must have!

Not denigrating your efforts but I am not "most people". My 7 yr old grandson is happily playing the first sim I believe you were involved with which is Wings of War, and I mostly play Wings of Glory miniature table top games. I think you have done a wonderful job keeping aviation heritage alive and kicking in the community and when I can afford it I usually buy everything WOFF released to encourage development. I will buy the PE as well but not right now. Thanks for your explanations and links.
Baxter,
Welcome back! I'm like you in that I don't have much time to actually fly (and now my speakers have decided to quit on me), but I buy it all to keep it going, and I hang out here because everyone is cool to be around, helpful and polite and fun. So yeah, as soon as you can, let's keep this great sim in development!

No worries. Everyone has to decide what's worth it for them, and I didn't take it as denigration of efforts just pointing out some facts

Re: PE? - 03/10/20 09:33 PM
I just purchased WOFF and also WOTR. My WOFF is the Ultimate Edition, I did not see on the site this PE Edition. This purchase was yesterday.
Do I need to purchase the PE Edition or will my just purchased Edition include this latest PE download? I also purchased the hard copy of Ultimate.
I believe I saw information on this PE Edition but I do not think I saw an area to purchase this edition.
I posted another message on downloading to a zip (thumb) drive and if it will work>
Thanks for any Information.

Do you have to download the program to the computer you will run it on or can you download to a storage unit to reload later to
a computer you may be making changes too.???

Lazduc PE is an optional expansion for UE. It's on the store page, it's actually at the top of the list on the left side.
You can download the files to a thumb drive, but you then need to unpack them (onto a hard drive) and install and run from the hard drive. It would run extremely slowly from a USB stick I would imagine.

need this DLC to play the superb WOFF UE though, buy that below!"
