No joy. Still says:
"UPDATE V 5.03 28th October 2019"
whether I go through the website or use the direct link.

Running Windows 7 with Chrome browser. Any suggestions?

You need to refresh your browser. CTRL+F5.

If still the same you need to wait, some ISPs cache websites for a while... good eh.

As above, You need to refresh your browser. CTRL+F5.

or you can try adding /? to the end of the URL which may force the ISP cache to reload.

Thanks Polovski ... problem is actually my Waterfox browser ... for whatever reason it stubbornly refuses to connect to the homepage (even using the /? force reload trick). In the end had to resort to IE (shudder) and have downloaded update now.

Easy fix is to switch to "pale moon" browser and from the already defined home page choose add-ons and get "turbo downloader"

Nah! (Pale Moon is just a little too stripped back for my usage). The problem was the encryption addon HTTPS:/Everywhere ... turn that off and voila! WWOF site loads.

Been flying PE for more than a month now (German campaign for several weeks) and just noticed you've got "kette" instead of "schwarm", the latter being more a WWII thing.

Guess I'll have to turn in my membership in the Sherlock Holmes Club.
