Rather pricey. I hope they have a lower priced line as well.

"Nvidia said Turing can render graphics six times faster than their Pascal-based chip sets, and plans to offer three new graphics cards based on it in the fourth quarter: the Quadro RTX 8000, the Quadro RTX 6000 and the Quadro RTX 5000 GPUs.

Nvidia said the 8000 will come with 48GB memory at an “estimated street price” of $10,000, while the Quadro RTX 6000 with 24GB memory should price at $6,300, and the Quadro RTX 5000 with 16GB memory will price at $2,300."

Those cards are most likely not meant to run Games. It is more for work, like CAD and Design programs or rendering tools etc. I have heard once that running games on those cards will be terrible because they are not meant for that and calculate things in a different way than Gaming cards, as far as I recall.

I found another article that claims Nvidia will eventually come out with a less costly version, something like a GTX 1180ti. But according to the article, Nvidia is going to hold off on their release for two reasons: 1) to avoid undercutting these new cards, and 2) to unload the stock of the 1080s, 1070s, and 1060s still around.

We shall see.

The new 2070/2080 cards are likely to be announced in about5 days time at Gamescon.

Rumour has it, the cards with have Gddr6 memory (probably 8gb,that's my personal guess) and the 2080 will be roughly 50% faster than a 1080 and about 10% faster than a 1080ti. The founders editions may be available around September and will now sport dual fans rather than the single fan blower design of the last million revisions of founder versions.

If the above is true, I will definitely be picking up a 2080 for a new build. Who knows? But we will probably find out very soon.

Do "supported games" mean anything on the GE Force site for NVIDIA but not WOFF? I see hundreds of sims there but have no idea what "supported" means in so far as how they play. I couldn't be more happy w/ the way WOFF UE performs now....be hard pressed to see how it could be better. But I'm no expert and who wouldn't want to see another astonishing transformation like the "blue triangles" rort. Cheers............
