Just saw a plug from the redoubtable Alex Revell for his book
The Happy Warrior: James Thomas Byford McCudden VC
available from Amazon.
Anyone who has read the classic High in the Empty Blue, among many others, will know his work, and how deep his roots in Great War Aviation are.
