If he's still making them in a couple years, I'll be getting these for sure.

I own a set of them from the first production run,it's the 2nd or 3rd unit that has been sold. I use them since August 2013 and they are under heavy use since then. I haven't noticed any sign of wear yet and I'm certain I never will...well,maybe in something like 10 years or so.^^ In the newer production runs some minor things have been improved and a new Firmware and Software has been released just a few days ago. You can't go wrong with those Pedals,it certainly will be the last set of pedals you will ever need to buy. I rate the quality higher than any Flightgear I ever owned. And the Customer Support is excellent aswell.

Not to mention high price. smile I think they're more than double what I paid for CH Pro Pedals.

Jeez, lots off fluff in that article. It's the modern media disease.

For me, 400 bucks US for rudder pedals is ridiculous, especially when no matter what pedal you buy you still have to deal with wonky-modeled flight sim yaw. (And they won't teach you how to fly a croswind approach and landing.) I also use CH Pro pedals. I've had them ten years--i.e., thousands of hours of use--and they are as good as new. As a "real" pilot, I find them fine for flight sims, and they ring in for slightly over a hundred bucks.

BUT: I'm not knocking those Crosswind pedals or the price, mind you. They have more "nice to have" than "need to have" features of the CHP pedals, so one expects a higher price. If that's what you want, go for it. We all should have what we want. Lausbub is very happy with his Crosswind pedals, so fantastic! A ringing endorsement from an actual user.
