Checked Steam Store and they've got Galactic Civilizations II- Ultimate Edition for Free for next 48 hours. I saw a thread about it on Humble(?) the past few days
and thought if others had missed it and still wanted it, it's available on Steam starting today.

I got GalCiv III via Humble Monthly. It's pretty much the same, right?

yes similar gameplay.
i like GC3 but the 9000 different DLCs are annoying. i refuse to spend more $$$ for base game enhancements
