The V-22 Osprey will be joining USAF soon. I still need to skin it, and finish the animations. I have a question: Would you all rather have rotating propellers, OR would you prefer that the engine move during landing? Let me know so I can get this baby down-loadable. \:D

Perhaps just do a static bmp for the props like the Mustang, then the engines move via flap command.

I'm still thinking about it, but I am leaning towards doing it both ways, and perhaps even adding a third version with the props/engines vertical (ie helicopter mode.)

Take care.

Real nice! \:D \:\)
Just wanted to let you know that its going to be called the CV-22, and the MV-22 for the Marines.

Nesher has a good idea, I'd like that to. But it would be cool if some how the rotars would switch back and forth.

Really nice work Gulf Knight!!
I just got back from Germany and checked your site, and.... WOW! All these new 3d models including the viggen!
They look great.

Have an idea; for your CV-22 Osprey, make one model with the rotor down, and one model with it in VTOL mode. That way we can add it in heavy flight as well as a helo formation.

You could also make it's cargo bay door open like your C-130. (By the way, nice 3D models!)

Or, you could make one with its rotor down and up with the cargo bays always open in an addition. That way you could make vehicles and stuff dive out. And it would look like people are loading it up. Just a thought, you don't have to make so many versions of the model, do what you want. Just a thought. ;\)

use a round prop.tga for the prop/rotor

and link the animation with the gear

Good idea Raven that sounds like that will work.
