"Legitimately crack"? Heh, interesting choice of words. Besides, a v2.03 crack works on v2.5 anyway, the exact same (very simple) modification defeats both, albeit in a slightly different location. It's almost like they meant to make it easy (which makes you wonder why they bother with the annoyance in the first place)

Either way, I'm noticing gamecopyworld is having its usual mirroring problems, so if anyone wants to save the hassle, I have my crack up too, here .

Hey any chance someone can tinker with the 2.5 exe and modify it to allow fly all planes in 2.5 .

I have this zip for 2.01 or .02 , can't remember exactly which , that was made by a guy off the WWW, it alters the main exe , and allows fly any plane as " ME " in the mission builder !

I really like flying all the planes different external views skins - i would like it back in 2.5 , but i don't have the hexing knowledge to do it

Can any of you guys help ?

The utility was by Tim Ivanov (a very clever cookie) and was compatible with Flanker 2.01 only. Its available on the Mod's / Patches page of FJFS - Flanker.

Would be fun to see something similar for 2.5.

I have 2 flanker installs on my hd , one fly all , the other 2.5

Would it not be possible to copy over / patch over the changed / fly all data over to the 2.5 exe , or am i viewing this too simplistically , baring in mind i am no coder guy ?

I haven't gone looking for that part of the program, but it would probably be an easy hack once you found it. They did slightly change how the "Me" designation works in 2.5, though, so I doubt you could simply make the same change as in 2.01.

No it doesn't, unless there is a new crack for 2.5.1 b1 and b2.

It doesn't, eh? Tthey actually went in and changed their code? Amazing. (they didn't from 2.03 to 2.5) I guess they downloaded it and decided to make someone spend five minutes on a new one

However, I've gone back to 2.03 and don't have much interest in cracking the various betas. Maybe when they get 2.5x playable
