Virtual memory size (swap file)??? - 03/14/01 08:14 AM
Hello,
Does someone knows what the best virtual memory (swap file) size is for flanker2???
Now I have a 250 mb fixed swap file for flanker on the D: harddisk where flanker2 is installed. My windows is installed on the C: drive.
Or is het better for flanker2 to managed virtual memomry (swap file) by windows itself?
Or is getting the best performence to instal F2 on the C: drive and then having a fix swap file on the c: drive or letting than windows management the swap file by it self.
Please tell me what is the best to get the best performance for flanker 2?
System:
PII 450
196mb ext. memory
8.4 ghia harddisk ( 4,4 ghia c: and 4ghia d
16mbTNT
64bits soundlaster
19" Iyama monitor
Greetings.
