Windows 10 update broke my Cougar! HELP!

Windows update installed an unsolicited update last night that hosed my HOTAS Cougar install, along with all other controllers.

I got the other controllers to work.

I cannot, however, get my HOTAS Cougar to recognize anymore. Help!


I try running HOTAS Cougar update and it won't even get past step 1 anymore. It sits there forever and waits for me hold the trigger in.

Update:

seems windows porked one usb port
the one and only usb port
that I plug my hotas into
the messed up part?
I plug my track IR into that port
and it works fine
HOTAS? puck no
so I plug hotas into Track IR usual port, works fine
FU microsoft

Can I have my time back?
