How to stop CH Pro Pedals from sliding - 08/14/19 02:21 PM

Hi,

I've got a set of CH Pro Pedals that I've had for ages. They do what I need them to do as far as rudder control goes, except for one thing. The base for the pedals slides all over the place. Several years ago, I actually went to the trouble of cutting a custom chair mat from some sheets of wood. I cut a CH Pro Pedals-sized hole out of the chair mat so that the pedals would sit down inside it, caging them and preventing them from sliding. That worked well, but the chair mat itself quickly displaces due to the pile of the carpet. This all seems like a stupid amount of effort to go to just to keep a set of rudder pedals from sliding all over the place. I can't be the only one who's faced this problem, so what have you folks done to deal with it?

Thanks.

Skateboard grip tape
You can get it in sheet or tape form, its a bit like sticky back sandpaper.
Work great on carpet but don't use it on polished wood floors for obvious reasons smile

Thanks, Mark. I'll try that.
