Honeycomb Aeronautical products?

Had high hopes for these guys, given how awesome their throttle looks:

Checks a lot of boxes, and is finally an affordable controller with a gear handle.

Unfortunately, they appear to have gone silent since last year, and despite them stating they " expect both products to launch in Q1 2018", there's been no update.

Anyone heard anything about these guys?

I missed that initially, as the link to said FB page on their site was a dead link. Had to google it.

That looks like a trim wheel too, so with a gear lever and flaps, it looks like a very tempting toy for me!

Yup! lots of other features too, including interchangeable Boeing style throttle levers with working (!) thrust reverse levers:

The GA style Auto-pilot deck with what appears to be a rotary nob for various inputs, is also a welcome reprieve from clicking around the cockpit.


It appears that at least the yoke is on track for 2018. Their Facebook page post activity is very active, and it looks like they're just now working on production logistics for the yoke.

Overall, they seem like a worthy replacement for Saitek, offering more affordable, "plasticity" products. The uber hard core GA sim guys will still want their $800 replica flight yokes and throttle quads, but for the mid-range simmer looking to step up from $50 desktop joystick, this is a great match.

Seems the "sensor" CW MT/7694N1 OCTR* in X axis is a wire wound pot - what if is, is ways better than Saitek "$0.1" pot.

* This reference only appear online in Indian cargo list.

Not too fussed about the yoke, I think the Saitek or CH stuff is fine, but that throttle quadrant looks like it'll be awesome in any cockpit.
