Uber II Nxt gimbal springs

Due to Ian not having springs available anymore, and me only having a couple left...

I sent a sample to a spring company and had a order filled..

I had to order a large lot, so I have extra for sale..

Thought I would see if anyone is in need, 5 for 20 bucks is what I would sell for..

I got mine in over the weekend. All of my stock springs are still good, but I only had two spares left. Now I'm no longer worried! Cheers!

I think you mean .050" fifty thousandths of an inch, not .0005", 5 ten-thousandths of an inch.

Ya messed that one up...

Hi, do you recall the full specs for these springs? The load, sizes, rate, dimensions, etc.?

These springs still available? I need some. By the way, how the heck do you stretch the springs to get them back to the posts? Geesh

Fakum, no idea on the availability of the springs... But to install new ones you need to take the stick and gimbals out of the base, then reattach the stick to the removed gimbals. Use that for leverage and stretch the springs into place that way.

I am now desperate for springs, and having no luck ordering from the supplier in Australia I was advised to try. Help, someone. I have two springs left.

I was able to order some from mac495 here on SimHQ, ArgonV. He has more, I believe, and sells them for a reasonable price.

Mr Blastman , I assume your arrived ok ? Wish I'd seen your post before, would have been able to calm your nerves lol

One issue did arise with a uber2 (not NXT) , it seems that there was a spring change between the series, they rub on the gimbal on the Uber2 so be aware there is a difference. ( Haven't heard if the user was able to correct it)

Gotta keep those NXT's alive , don't we

How have yours held up or are you finishing off your originals now ?

I can't say for sure , but I don't believe I've had one of these fail yet, if I have it's comparable if not better- or I'm easier on it with older age

So far, I've only had originals fail - just replaced it with one of yours. I picked up a new Uber 2 Nxt modded Cougar a while ago, and just would like a spare set for it.
