Talking to JTAC crashes sim , any help is appreciated - 04/10/11 11:07 PM

Hello All,

Does anyone else have trouble when contacting JTAC ? I can start contact and copy 9 line ok but when I get the reply to copy data and initate responce the sim crashes.

Clean install 1.1.0.7 win 7 64

Man, dont contact him then!
Do you have any problem in missions without Jtac?
If i were you i would start with the sound card, look for newer drivers.
And no problem here in contacting JTAC, still learning since beta 1

You're not using that clickable radio trick are you? It has been reported to have errors and causing crashes.

Wow, this is good to know. I was using the clickable radio myself, and I too was having crashes when talking to JTACs.

I don't look forward to going back to no-clickable radio menus

I wound up doing a format and reinstall it was time for my yearly upgrade any way,I put in a new mobo and some other goodies.

All seems good now in A-10, im on about the 5th mish in the second campain and no crashes

Panther I was using the click radio at first. Then I saw the thread about others crashing when using it so I disabled it and went back to keys but it still randomly crashed when activating the comms.
