Installing Falcon 4.0 Allied Force on Windows 8.1....Help quested - 12/03/14 10:37 PM

Hi everyone,

I have Falcon 4.0 AF and I want to run it on my Windows 8.1 machine.

Any pointers please?

I tried but things are amiss.

My specs:

Win 8.1
I7 chipset
16 GB RAM
Nvidia 750ti GTX card
Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick (Yes...it's old and it DOES need to go!)

Try setting compatibility to Windows XP

Hi Stefnuts,

could you give me some details how you managed to get it going? I was trying the other day on a similar HW-configuration and encountered graphic problems. Green and red flickering lines and text. I am also seeing a reprodrucable crash when trying to look at the left aux dashboard.

I am having the same problem. Is there a good fix out there?
