What exactly can you do with TacPack?

Disgruntled DCS player here. Bought Varmit's Superbug soon as he released it, but was quickly bored to death just flying around and removed it from my harddrive.

I realize FSX/P3D is a civi-sim, but does adding TacPack give a decent combat feel? I only play singleplayer, can you make missions?

Reason I'm asking is I recently saw utube vids of Dino's Typhoon that really appealed to me.
Now, just wondering if it's worth the price (P3D + Typhoon + TacPack).

Don't have time right now but you can shoot down other aircraft and blow stuff up!!

Plus a LOT more! SEAD, A2A,A2G,Carrier ops, anywhere in the world! any weather> recommend P3DV4.X and VRS FA 18E and TacPack. Then add Dino's excellent F-35. Also many other a/c which are "TacPacked". list too long!

Are missions/campaigns a thing yet? Last I checked in (over a year ago), FSX@War was the platform that was promising to bring that to the table.

Sure you can create missions for single player too.
