Even with my laser mouse, I like the feel of a cloth/rubber pad under it and to rest my hand on.. my hard wood desk surface just isn't comfortable.

Has any one seen these new monitors that are touch screens.. they look cool, but I don't think they would be very comfortable to use for very long

Ahh.. so that's why they're so paranoid about ROF and have all the protection.

Haven't seen these yet but we use touch screens at work. They are ok for the type of applications we use them for but you would not want to use them (At least I wouldn't) for you everyday computer use. There is one sim that I think it would be great to use with and that would be DCS Black Shark.
With all the switches and knobs to play with and not having to use the mouse I think it would almost be worth getting a touch screen just for Black Shark
