Bought the pack (FSW + Ten Hammers) on this recent sale, paid something like 3,74€ for the pack. 10hrs so far (on the 7th mission) and still going. Now is when it starts getting real interesting.
It´s still fun today. Whish they would do a remake, although it would not be by the defunct Pandemic Studios.
I love this game! Thanks for sharing Red2112. I never finished it but I played it heavily on the Xbox. I loved the gameplay and strategy and the immersion of getting to know and fighting with your squad and calling in sitreps. I tried it on PC back when someone(Army?) released it as freeware but it did not run well. I've been wanting to get them as they are on GOG.com. Is that where you got them? How do they run?

Speaking of Pandemic, they made great games!
No, I bought them on Steam as a pack. Would have bought them on GOG if I would have looked! FSW runs great on W10, you do need to add your resolution to a .CFG file if you want it to run on higher resolution. It´s easy, there´s a post on the discussion group of the game on how to do it. I haven´t tried Ten Hammers yet, want to finish the first one first, but I Imagen being newer it will work aswell. Can´t wait to play Ten Hammers, as there´s more squad options etc. Both games have aged pretty well I think. I actually like how FSW looks.
Yes, Pandemic made some great games. Battlezone II was pretty cool too!
I had this and the sequel on Xbox. Very unique gamestyle! I think I’d appreciate it more today if it got a remake. Pandemic was a really good studio. Battlezone got an updated remake, renamed Battle Commander. The first Mercenaries game was excellent, as was The Saboteur, I’d love to see those get reworked. Destroy All Humans was a lot of fun and it’s coming out again. Maybe the studio projects are getting resurrected here and there?
It was used as a training tool by the dod. Don't remember which branch Army or USMC. Played it, and it was useful for fire team coordination. The difference between the Military version and the Civilian version was that in the Military one, there was no music.
Also, failing the mission in case of collateral damages, which the XBox version also had, but not the PC version (a major disappointment for me at the time).

Well that´s a bummer. That is strange that they didn´t add that feature to the PC version. I´ll shoot a civilan next time and see what happens...
