Hi everybody

after a break in simulation, uninstalling every sim I had on my machine, I'm finally back and I decided to visit SHIII again..

Install went smoothly, no probs, updated it to 1.04b: no glitches.

Some questions:

1. I can run SHIII with sound hardware acceleration completely turned off only, otherwise it will CTD or even restart my computer after couple of minutes. However, the sound is fine, and I can't complain, but is this normal ?

2. When I'm on deck and I'm looking through the UZO, it stutters badly . Every other view is fine.... is there a solution to this?

3. I seem to remember that there is a key combination with which it is possible to walk around smoothly in the boat, not just jump to the cabins. Anybody remembers?

4. still any Kaleus around online ?

Hardware specifications will go a long way

Sound: I would suggest updating the sound drivers from the sound manufacturer.

UZO: Bet you have a nVidia video card and you are enjoying the "the way its meant to be played" experiencing - Solution don't buy nVidia

Are you patched up to version 1.4b?

And there is a Ctrl-P keystroke that fixes the nivdia UZO bug in game- you only need to set it once

The Game has been working fine with my Nvidia card. 6800GT

Ditto on my Ti4200

And yet there are so many with nVidia cards that have issues with SHIII
