Yes fellows - it happened...

was playin' SHIII the other day and soon it went "BOOOM", crashed, but not only ye good ole CTD, nah, it did RESTART my 'puter. Well, I went "what the...", stayed calm and restarted the game.

O.k. now we got this: after approx. two minutes ingame it crashes and forces my 'puter to resart. Every time. No exceptions, no mercy...

What the....???

Oh, I forgot, AntiVir: nothing. nothing? nothing!

Uninstall, reinstall, and everything will be hunky dory?

Any help....

My suggestion would to firstly delete the SHIII directory in your 'My Documents'.

How do other games go? How are your temps looking? Good enough ventilation in your case? Overclocking at all?

Not every CTD or reboot is because of software, many aren't in fact.

it was the audio acceleration. Slider was on "max", now it's on "min", and I'm stable as a rock ...
That maybe helps other people with CTD's...
