Hello all,

I've just discovered Red Baron. I have the 1.0.7.8 patch installed, as well as FCJ and FCJ1.2 patch. The sim now looks incredible but I cannot seem to run campaign missions. Every time I run a mission, I can fly about a quarter of the way to a target, and then Red Baron crashes to the desktop. I am running on a Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop, 2.13 Ghz, 6800 Ultra, at 1600*1200 in game. My normal resolution is 1920*1200. I am using the dgvoodoo glide wrapper. Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried a clean install of RB/FCJ/FCJ1.2 and no luck.

I'm not familiar with the problems associated with laptops. CTD's can be troublesome for a variety of reasons. Have you tried to run a campaign without the FCJ patches?

Maybe a resources issue, on the FCJ Control Panel there's an option to show resources at the bottom of the screen. I'd try reducing tray programs that maybe running. Shut down anything uneccessary. Try unplugging from the net and shutting down anti virus and firewall software too to free as much core memory up as possible.
RB is very old so doesn't see all the extra memory machines have so sometimes have to clear basic windows resources.

Also there's a RB First Aid kit out there that can help with various issues check that out.

Update, by deleting the debrief.dat file in the main Red Baron folder, and installing CM11 campaign manager, everything is working again!
