There are some variances with running in True GLIDE,OpenGL with the wrapper,or DD. There are settings for "near" and "far" terrain view in the PREFERENCES/GRAPHICS/GRAPHICS OPTIONS which may help. Turn FOG on,this may help. There is a utility to stretch the terrain view even farther,I can E it to you but it is a pretty bad hit on FR. You may be unable to completely get rid of the "pyramids".
