I just came across the mention of FCJ in CGW magazine and I'm chomping at the bit to get my hands on this thing. I've been totally out of the loop on RB3D.

While I loved the sim when it first came out, after a couple of pc upgrades and changing to winxp, I've been out of touch with RB3D. So now, with alot of excitement about this FCJ, I was wondering if someone would kindly list the steps I need to take to install the old game and then the patch on my new system.

Some of the things I'm wondering about are: winxp setup - should I run in compatability mode for win98 or 95?
Do I need any other patches/utilities other than FCJ... I'm hearing something about "glide thingmy" something-or-other? Not sure what that is or if its included in FCJ.

I'm using the full suite CH Products controllers usb - all three. Will they be recognized by FCJ?

512megs RAM
g-force 4 128meg
winxp

Go here and check out the Help Files: http://www.plgrafix.com/ . Read the FAQ. It will tell you where to get the Glide wrapper. If you want to see screenshot of the game played with the wrapper, check out my "Jasta 16b Barrage Patrol" post here. You can't tell the difference from using a Voodoo card.

Ok von Kesselberg, I jumped over to plgrafix.com and took a quick glance at those help files. I can see there is a ton of info there. Great! I'm gonna hit the sack now and dig in to those files tomorrow. Thanks a bunch.
