I dont what else to do here folks. Have tried all the tricks recommended and 2 reinstalls and instant request to leave every server because I am out of sync, even though I ping under 100 to all of them.
No one else has had, or heard of this problem before? The single player campaign is a blast, but I really miss the MP aspect of this game. \:\(

S! Fliegenhund,
Try this: go here: http://www.flybert.net/mpdefalt.htm
and get the MPstockdat files. Unzip to your ~\Data\Multi folder. These files should override any non-stock files when you enter a server,

As ever,

Thanks Bird I tried that, still no dice. I am thinking its my connection because I cannot connect to IL2 MP either.
I dont run a firewall and have no problems with other games on MP. I am throwing in the towel.

What type of error you got on IL-2 MP? It seems to be a problem with your connection, maybe your connecting through the wrong IP or something. Do you get "Connection Timed out..." on IL-2?

Yes Dreamer I do get timeouts on IL2. Do you know what port and how to check? Thanks again!

You might try going to Jasta 37's website and checking out the technical section. http://members.tripod.com/J37_BW/J37.htm Pretty good stuff there.

I don't have IL-2 installed right now, but if I remember correctly, you have to go to il2setup.exe, click the Multiplayer tab, and change the IP from Default to another IP. If that doesn't work, try the next one on the list (if there is a next one). I had the exact same connection timed out problem and went nuts trying to figure it out until I messed around with the IP address on the settings panel.

EDIT: I haven't tried changing the RB3D settings as it seems to be working for me, but if you get IL-2 to work, try finding a way to configure RB3D to use that IP.
