Hello, I fanaticaly played RB1 from it's original release, then a quick pass thru RB2, landing with RB3. I have always enjoyed the game. I've played EAW , since it's release, and have currently 6 gig of addons, enhancements, utilities, graphics, aircraft, terrains, special effects ect., ect., ect.,. I have never ventured into this with RB...My question is.., where do I start and how can I modify without getting too overwhelmed off the bat. In EAW, the forums are of tremendous help and there are a couple of comprehensive sites to get you going and keep you going. I love this sim and am eager to enjow and contribute, if possible, the 'new' RB and it's community.

Salute, rodeo!

In addition to SWWISA (outstanding stuff, btw), be sure to check out the Wings of Valor website at . This is a major focal point for the RB3D community with some great downloads in the "Files" section.

If you're going to start patching RB3D, the first thing you need to grab is von Tom's "Campaign Manager." This little utility makes swapping patches in and out of the game a snap. And it's so easy to use that even a computer dummy like me was able to figure it out! Heck, if you've been patching EAW all this time, it should be a piece of cake for you.

Thanks gentlemen...I'll give it a go...
Any patches ect., that might be considered 'must haves' or might be a base to build upon? Thanks again, Salute!

The Western Front Patch is the definitive campaign patch for RB3D. Meanwhile Rens has a MMP vol file which will update the graphics for on-line play. Both are available at/thru SWWISA.
