Here's a bit of a preview of the upcoming multiplayer mission pack that we're going to be featuring in the not too distant future!

High Adventure will feature authentically based missions from the history of No. 4 Squadron Australian Flying Corps.

Stay tuned! \:\)

Sure can Axiscannon!

If the host (or a player flying the multi-missions offline) diasbles Enable HUD in the Mission Options, then icons, names, and speed info will be unavailable in-game (as well as the HUD overlay too).

This might work very well with our upcoming AFC Missions Pack in fact. The only difficulty may be in knowing sometimes who's left a session, and who hasn't, but as long as we keep our chat protocols up we shouldn't have to much difficulty flying without icons.

I suppose the choice depends on the sentiment of those flying online, or how strict the host wants things to be. ;\)

Hi Fawlty,

I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding a couple of weeks ago while we were online.
I thought I'd clear things up.....It wasn't me who built the current SE5a while using the Shuttleworth photos (your brother's right?)for the cockpit. That was SvBaker a few years ago. I'm re-building his SE5a, although right now I don't have a computer to work on her. Mine died a few days ago and it will be a while 'til I'm up and running, so the project is on hold.

cheers, Recon3

Hi Recon
To bad about your computer,at least your living in a city were you can get reasonably priced parts.
The two of you did a beautiful job on that plane, one of the nicest ww1 planes out there.
So any one up for some online action Sunday?
Cheers
Fawlty

Hi Fawlty,

We didn't have a formal meet this past Sunday, but perhaps this Sunday for an impromptu gathering would be nice. \:\)

Now we had a bit of a formative discussion on the OPS board about best days/times on the weekend to meet online, and most people said Saturday was better for them, as international players could stay up late w/o work the next day, and North American players didn't have to worry about church or family activities on Sunday conflicting with 'wanting to kill something'. ;\)

How's Saturdays for you Fawlty?

How about others here that are interested in flying FS-WWI online...........how would Saturdays be for you?

Meanwhile, our AFC Squadrons Pack of online missions are about half completed, and we'll playtest them before release, and then make them available for download prior to our play day.

Blacksheep has graciously allowed us to host the AFC Mission Pack on his website, and hopefully that'll be within a week's time now. \:\)

Let us know how Saturdays (afternoons U.S./Canada, evenings/morning Europe and elsewhere) would work with you guys interested in flying FS-WWI online?

Hi Fly
Ya Saturday's not quite as good as Sunday morning pacific time but if the guys are up for Saturday then so be it.I'll check over at the open plane board from time to time to see what's happening.
Cheers

Not sure if you've got this up "there", but I thought I'd post the link anyway http://www.freecycle.org I just saw a post of someone getting a computer down here tonight.
