Hello all

When I add a ground object in a mission with the mission editor, if I save and quite the mission editor, then if I repopen the editor and open the previous mission, I cannot see the vehicle, though it is present in the file.

Can someone help ?

This is very odd... Check the filter and if that doesnt work try creating a mission from scratch and test it. As I recall there is a game bug with the Mission editor and ground objects with older missions... In that if you choose to add a new ground object it names it differently and sticks it ontop of another ground object.

Well, actually, I tried to create a mission from scratch :
I save it, I reload it : the object disappears and if I resave it : the object has disappeared in the mission file.
As to the view filter : for old missions, I can see the ground objects, so it is not the problem.

I think I found something :
It is ok if the language is english, but it does not work in french !!!

What?! That's terrible. Where is that limitation? Is it something that can be fixed with a bunch of insertions in a text file somewhere?

Yes, I think that in the script, "units" is also translated for ground units.
As a "simple" workaround, change to langenglish when editing a mission (in the sdemon.ini file) and then back to langfrench (or others) when playing ...
