We do have another terrain in the works. It's called Albert. Right now it needs a few things done like repositioning and rotating of the railway line, and remapping of a few tiles so there isn't two sets of front line. ;\)

As for Somme, I CAN make it hi-res compatable. I just need someone to do hi-res textures for it. (Including trees, buildings and everything) That task would be FAR simpler than finishing off Albert. Albert most likely wont get finished until after Plane Pack 4 comes.

Thanks for update - something to look forward to.....and Plane Pack 4 too!

Thanks to all you guys and your talent and dedication.

The updates to the Albatross and Camel are nothing short of superb - photorealitic.

With a better terrain (is anybody looking at the clouds - could they be less regular in shape?) this old warhorse can more than hold it's own with modern sims

And it is still the best WW1 dogfighting around (RB2 obviously has it's superb campaign but the ariel vertgo of flinging FS:SDOE WW1 planes aroung is a gut wrenching experience yet to be bettered IMO)

It would be a treat to have Albert and the Somme both re-done with textures that would be compatible with each other. As it is now, Somme is very different from any other SDOE terrain visually.

I must say, I particularly enjoy flying over the Rhineland with the WWI kit for it installed. It is my favorite WWI terrain...
