Yes, I saw the pictures they are really, really, really awesome!! It was based in that thread that I started a search a find that the developers of LOMAC have started the development for an F/A-18 Addon (despite of not being a official Addon from Ubisoft but it appears to have it's blessing)! Check this site: http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=1c8bba7e4dffcfc528e00a349fa3d693&threadid=44347 And by looking by the images it appears (in my oppinion) that F/A-18 belongs to the Addon, it has too much detail for an AI aircraft (note for example the Cockpit detail!)! If this is true, than it's even more awesome, since I'm also Canadian so I would be more than happy to fly a CF-18!

Yea! I have a friend in Ottwa who is also a model builder and he was very impressed with the level of detail even dow to the correct ejection seat! He almost peeed his drawers with the Maple Leaf on the bird. His only complaint was that it wasn't relastic as most if not all Canadian F/A-18 are grounded.

Man, I really hope that LOMAC includes a naval aviation component. I'd even be willing to pay for an expansion pack (a la IL2 FB)

But you have to wait a very long time for this addon. They don't know yet, when they are going to release it but it will be quite some time after the release of the basic game. I guess that it will take atleast 6 months.

The pictures you are seeing are from the AI F/A-18 in the sim (not from the possible add-on). Still, it may be quite realistic that they may indeed use that model.
BTW, the add-on is unofficial and not a go until everything falls into place. I understand some prelim work has gone into it tho. Let's wish for the best and hopefully Lockon will be a full blown "supported" series.

--T I still continue to think that this model is too much overdetailed for an AI aircraft (as I said previously, just look to the cockpit detail), so I don't believe that this one is an AI aircraft!
