1>Pretzel's "Worn Torn Hornet" TGA files work
2>It's possible to fly other aircraft, including Iraqi AC, by changing your call sign, as per Hornet 3/Hornet Korea/PSF. For instance, if the mission you're loading includes an SU-27, and you wish to fly it, change your callsign to fly:SU27-00
Go to Graphsim's FAQ page for more info.

Fubar, does the skins really work in OIF? Pretzel told me that a new shading feature causes a weird look on his war torn skins in OIF.

It appears to make it a somewhat darker shade of grey. Pretzel's mod to the Turkey Feathers and the anti glare panel on the nose doesn't work, but I suspect those have to be hexed into the game's .exe file. Anyway, here's a link to a screenie, tell me what you think: Image

It looks the same in my game. The anti skid marks doesn't show either. I wonder if Pretzel can also change the 3D model of the hornet which is some big mistakes. The jet intakes were completely messed up and reach over the lower fuselage as well. The gear is not very detailed and the ailerons on the wing tips doesn't move. Maybe Pretzel can ask GSC about rasing the poly count of the Hornet model.
Btw, is it a bug or is it normal that you can choose the Mig-29 in the mission editor? AFAIK i saw Mig-29s in the demo.

I don't see anything other then MiG-21/23/27s and SU-27s in the mission editor. A MiG-29 would be interesting, and more true-to-life. According to info on this site HERE , the Iraqi Air Force never had any SU-27s, nor did they have MiG-27s.

Agreed and i saw Mig-29s in the demo while playing with the external views. I wonder how they got it into the game when you can't select it in the mission builder.

Woops . You got me. I only saw them for maybe 3 seconds before the damn demo changed the view again. I really thought it's a Mig-29 although i noticed that the nose has a slightly different shape. Btw, the Iraq used to have Mig-29s during the early 90's. I don't know the status of their Air Force right before the second Gulf War but i think the mentioned Mig-29s here and there. Maybe they have just taken all the planes from PSF over to OIF? I guess Korea doesn't have the 29?
