Banks: Ya stole my thunder ! Exactly my sentiments. I have P1 to use for a screen-shot factory.

OIF seems to be fairly complete from what Chelco says, which is outstanding. Of course they have had ample opportunity to get this game ready for prime time !

A pegged 20FPS sounds great. If that holds for a low level cluster, or napalm delivery then they got a hell of an efficient rendering system. Particle effects can really tank your FPS.

Only diff in the moving /stationary carrier is you get a little extra time to line up your approach because of a little less relative motion, and you have to use some rudder to keep correcting right, because of the angled flight deck. That's no show stopper for me. Do the carrier landings more resemble Flanker 2.5, or Janes ?

I liked the Flanker ones better for some reason. Jane's F/A-18 had cool radio chatter,lots of traffic and such, but I never really got into it for some reason. Flanker was a nice sim, but was kind of ....dry I guess. Not a slam just personal choice.

Yeah, SF is good for some nice screenshots.
I'm also amazed about the smooth 20fps but we already know such smooth fps rates from SF. I couldn't believe that 25 are smooth till i saw SF in action. Besidethat, the fps meter is only half the story, each flight sim has two engines (visuals and physics) running in the background at the samw time. I guess when a constant 20fps rate loooks smooth they did some good programming. Maybe they have found a good way to load the textures and stuff, something Oleg and Co. still have to work on for IL2:FB.

Guys, i think OIF is meant for the US market only and maybe only a hand full of european retailers are going to import it directly from the US. I saw that the game can be ordered now from Amazon.com but they only ship the game within the US.
In case that i can't get the game over here, can one of you US guys buy the game for me over there and send it to me after i transfered the money via Paypal (with shipping/ i'd prefer priority airmail)?
I think even without a Paypal account, you can receive money via your email address and you can let them transfer the money directly to your bank account. But i guess some of you guys already have a Paypal account.
