Hi all, I used to post in here as oxymoron..im not a newbie and have been waiting to post for a week or so and have a bunch o problems with the members board admin n stuff (see main page for problems)..what i wanted to do is ask pretzel directly why my screens look so poor?
ive asked you before pretz, which you replied to..thankyou very much, although i didnt post a shot. My Gef2 rendered this game beuatifully. Your screenies are superb!

ive tried everything.. drivers, OGL settings, AA, aniso, lod, you name it. This is the only game that has this issue.

I couldnt get it to look right on my radeon 8500, gef3 or any other card other than the gef2.
so here they are.



my system is p4 2.4g
gef 4 ti4600 128mb
512 pc 2700 ddr
msi 533 mobo.

Hello oxymoron,
The last time I seen Korea look that bad was
when I saw someone running it with a Voodoo 5500 with FSAA on. It looked exactly like yours. Yuck !

To tell you the truth Im at a loss of words on why it looks like that on your system. It seems like youve covered all the bases trying to get it right.

The only thing I sugest you check is your monitor driver. Make sure its correct and not using the "plug n play" gen drivers.

Well i tried that guys...no difference.

i went to leadtek and d/l lastest bios and custom 31.00 winfast ultra driver...guess what?...still no difference.

any other ideas?

i want to know what was the difference between my gef3 and gef4 as well as the radeon 8500 that made janes f15 and psf look so different. dx was same, but gef2 looked great!

i'm thinking that if i can emulate the gef2 environment maybe i can work around this.

then again, maybe not!
