I noticed on the SimHQ release dates it had Sept 28th - i've just got off the phone to Xicat International here in the UK. They confirm the date and say it will be a "more or less" simultaneous release in Europe & the US and to look out for the smaller "DVD style" case not the usual larger cardboard box. Not long to go...

BeachAV8R, be reminded that all we ever expected was an update to the present Hornet Korea, principally graphics and flight model. As long as they keep the price down ($20?) then it'll sell [to me].

The OFP manual is fine. But it is mainly a FPS game that really only needs a manual to explain the commands (which it does not do to well) and a good key card (which I was not too fond of.

But F-18 PSF is a highly complex (at least I think it is) sim. A printed manual would have been good. At least (I hope) we wont have to downlaod it (Fly!II)

To tell you the truth, I'm beginning to wonder about Xicat. I have been on the phone with these guys twice re: getting an eval copy for our site and I've had a hard time getting a human other than the guy who has been shifting me from voice-mail to voice-mail. I'm really starting to wonder - it's going on three weeks with no contact.

I think Admin at HQ is having or had the same problem

Talked with them yesterday ... copy supposed to arrive ... today ... this is the 5th time I have heard this ... usually Fed Ex, DHL and USPS have hit here by now ... me thinks it is a no show again. Yeah, they are having some learning curve issues it seems.

They did tell me it was GOLD and that it should hit shelves Oct. 12th or so.
