Just wondering, I have the sim F/A-18 Korea, though I`ve never played it. Is this the same game as the one discussed here?

Yes, but they're re-releasing it in a Gold edition with some graphical improvements.

Er, actually there was another Korea which was a mission pack for Hornet 2.0 for the Mac(black box). The Korea we're talking about here is in the green box.

The Gold version will have a number of improvements ranging from graphics to flight and damage modeling, with probably the largest change being OpenGL support. I think the upgrade will be $19.95 or there about.

The game I have is from Empire. It was part of the Maximum Flight compilation. Is this the one you guys are talking about?

It's made by Graphic Simulations but Empire might have been the European distributor.
Here's the link for the Gold edition.

You told me four+ years ago Jon that OpenGL was the API of the future. Nice to see it finally coming to fruition in HKG for the PC.

Note that Mac OpenGL support has been around for quite some time - but as we all know the bleeding edge stuff always starts with the Mac

Well, from what I've heard, one guy is working on it hence: 1. Dont expect it soon, or on time.
2. I remember reading some figure like 3 months or something, maybe 2, not sure so double check on the forum "search" fucntion.

Just pre-order HKG, go out and enjoy the summer (northern hemisphere presumed), and one day in the early fall it will appear in your mailbox.
