Tried the demo, and I'm ruined by JFA18. LOL
The final version better have some signicant upgrades to get me interested.
As for the so-called "realistic" FM, Again I've been ruined by JFA18. I think the FM in FA18 is great and it really gives me a sense of flying a real attack/fighter. Although I would like to see more thrust in JFA18.
The FM in HK seems a bit overpowered to me. Way to easy to overspeed (if that's possible).

Great to see you Jon! For those unaware Jon Blum is the graphic arts exceptional-talent behind the GSC F/A-18 line. He also foretold the strength of the OpenGL API many years ago - nice to see it come of age in HKG.

Yes, I'm still in the "networking" business, but recently moved from Gov't contracting sector to private.

Hah! I wondered who you might be.. Hi Jon...good to talk to you again...I remember you were pretty active on Graphsim's old board. For those who don't know, the guys at Graphsim were some of the more responsive developers to come down the pike.

Very true Hornit. And I was always impressed that the entire sales/programming/graphic arts/tech support team, in fact the entire company, consisted of Five (5) people!!! Who says a few good men (and women) can't produce a quality sim!
btw: Can't wait for IL-2, another small team project.

I always liked the "look and feel" of HK...for some reason...better than JF18 (and its weird switchology). Given the disappearance of new sims for us fast jet folks, I welcome and will purchase HK Gold. Roger ball!

Hey Bill (Skyhawk)!

You went and changed your callsign didn't you? I seem to remember "something fire" in the past. Thanks for the kind words about my Hornet missions (Hornet Korea and JF/A-18). I've been off in the Pacific fighting the yellow menace (CFS2) lately but I do need to get back to the Hornet soon!
